Central Asian Free Market Institute

Our partners in Kyrgyzstan are the Central Asian Free Market Institute (CAFMI) which is an independent, nonprofit, non-governmental think tank, founded in April 6, 2009, with offices in Bishkek and Dushanbe.  Their activities include Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Kazakhstan and their aim is to become a major research center for Central Asia. They have a very young and energetic staff headed by Mirsuljan Namazaliev.

They translated 14 classical liberal texts from the CD in English and put them on a CD in Kyrgyz.  At the same time they published two of the texts in hard copy. These are ’20 Myths About Markets’ by Tom Palmer and a book with two of Ayn Rand’s essays ‘What is Capitalism’ and ‘The Nature of Government’
